Hi I'm Will Finn, I've been working professionally in animation for over four decades.
I'm probably best known as the Supervising Animator of "Iago" - the villainous parrot in Disney's
ALADDIN (1992).
I was also Supervising Animator of "Cogsworth" - the fussy enchanted clock in
BEAUTY & THE BEAST (1991),
the Lead Animator of "Laverne" the gargoyle in HUNCHBACK, and "Lord Grimsby," in THE LITTLE MERMAID. I've worked on 10 classic Disney feature films & freelanced on dozens of commercials, TV shows, and several video games.

My Mission
Given all the different roles I have been able to fill, I think I have a unique perspective on the big picture of what an artist needs to understand to succeed. I have been lucky to work with great names in the past and present, and even mentored a few of the next generation artists. Now I am excited to bring my experience to this unique lesson plan for people who are ready to enhance their skills.
The Course
10 weeks of dedicated instruction in character acting and posing for storyboard artists and animators. This is a "2-D"-centric approach, emphasizing drawing skills for optimizing communication and entertainment. Get the benefit and input of 45 years of experience in the animation industry, from a professional trained by some of the top artists of the golden age, including Disney's Eric Larson and Looney Tunes' Chuck Jones.
Starting online weekly classes as of April, looking for up to 10 students who can be available at 8 a.m USA Pacific time for up to 2 hours each week for 10 weeks on Zoom.
