About Me.

Twenty Full-Length Animated Features including many from Disney, DreamWorks and MGM/UA.  Experienced in Directing both CGI and traditionally drawn animation.

Additional work in TV animation, primarily as Storyboard Artist and Story Editor at Warner Bros TV and Cartoon Network.

Directing : Years of experience in various departments up and down the animation process. Excellent communication and people skills, including several recent directing assignments and a series of lead supervisor roles. Nominated for an ASIFA Annie Award for best Direction in 2004.  
Special skills in directing voice acting for animation. Performers I have directed include Steve Carrell, Judy Dench, Kenneth Brannaugh and many others.
Sensitive to and responsive to issues of budget and schedule.

Story skills include story structure, story editing, storyboarding, writing and story pitching. Also experienced supervising a large story crew while also contributing to the script, storyboards and recording sessions (Disney's HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME, MGM UA's SECRET OF NIMH). An extensive knowledge of contemporary and classic films, as well as an avid reader of fiction and non-fiction as well as Musical Comedy.

Character Animation experience includes supervising roles on several beloved characters from Disney films such as BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, ALADDIN and THE LITTLE MERMAID. Trained and worked with many top names in the business including legends like Chuck Jones (Warner Bros. premier director) and Eric Larson, (one of the original "9 Old Men" of Disney Animation).
